Demand for highly qualified specialists with developed creativity is currently increasing; there is the perception of the fact
that creativity and self-realization depend on the quality of education. The work is devoted to the most important aspects
of higher education in modern culture. Special role of artistic and aesthetic training is noted, especially in the sphere
of jewellery, in the conditions of a technical institution of higher education. It is indicated that the appeal to the peculiarities
of jewellery culture in general and specification of specific conditions of jewellery culture development of a certain region
and any other social and cultural space in particular, contributes to strengthening of connection between a man and
natural area, and man’s rootedness into the world of nature and culture, which form worldview attitudes, and moral and
ethical components of a further specialist.
